    1. charlatan - noun   a person who pretends to have skills or knowledge that they do not have, especially in medicine

    Week Two

    a. vocabulary

       Unit 1
    1. detriment - the act of causing harm or damage; something that causes harm or damage
    2. dexterous - skillful with your hands; skilfully done
    3. discretion - 1.The quality of behaving or speaking in such a way as to avoid causing offence or                         revealing confidential information                                                                                               2.The freedom to decide what should be done in a particular situation
    4. facetious - Treating serious issues with deliberately inappropriate humor; flippant
    5. gregarious - (of people) liking to be with other people, or (especially of animals) living in groups
    6. optimum -  best; most likely to bring success or advantage
    7. ostentatious - adjective    too obviously showing your money, possessions or power, in an attempt to make other people notice and admire you
    8. scrupulous - adjective   extremely honest, or doing everything correctly and exactly as it should be done
